Studied conducting under Prof. Yoshio SAIDA at Kobe University in Japan, he is a conductor and artistic director of choirs in Japan, and he has been invited to perform with choirs in Japan, Europe, America, and Asia.
He has also worked as an active workshop clinician and a lecturer of chorus workshops. In recent years, he has adjudicated at some domestic competitions in held by the Japan Choral Association, and some international competitions such as the Major Caritas Choral Festival in the Philippines, the Manado Singing City International Choral Festival in Indonesia.
He has actively organized various international choral festivals and joint concerts in Japan, inviting foreign composers and conductors, such as Javier Busto, John Pamintuan, Jonathan Velasco, Nelson Kwei, Johnny Ku, Ronnie Kay Yen Cheng, Anna Tabita Abeleda-Piquero, and he has also invited choral groups from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan to Japan.
He became a festival director of Sing’n’Pray Kobe 2018 & 2020 in Kobe, Japan, and invited 40 choirs from all over the world, there. He is currently a director of the Hyogo Choral Association, a director of Takarazuka International Chamber Chorus Contest, and a member of the Japan Choral Directors Association.
