Yu-Chung Johnny Ku

Dr. Ku receives his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati, and his Master of Music degree from Temple University. Dr. Ku is an active conductor and choral expert. He has given masterclasses and lectures internationally, and has conducted choirs and orchestras in more than 20 countries around the world.
He has also been an adjudicator in several international competitions, such as the World Choir Games, Bali International Choral Competition, Singapore International Choral Competition, Busan Choral Festival and Competition, among others.
Dr. Ku is currently the Music Director of Taipei Philharmonic Foundation, which consists of 15 musical groups, including 10 Choruses, 3 Orchestras, an Opera Studio and a Musical Theater.
He is also the Music Director of Taipei International Choral Competition and Festival, a professor in the Chinese Culture University, an executive board member of Taiwan Choral Association, a member of the World Choral Council, a member of the Asia-Pacific working committee in the International Federation for Choral Music, co-founder of the World Choral Championship, one of the founding directors of the Asian Choral Association, and one of the founding members of the International Choral Conductors Federation.
